The hotel was in a good location, not far from the lake and the railway station and plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but a little dated. The shower over the bath was not easiest to use as water would end up on the floor if not careful. The electrical sockets need updating to international standards, no USB sockets. It was a bit noisy from about 7am when delivery and refuse trucks were outside the hotel and the building opposite is a building site but didn't cause any real inconvenience. At most other times it was quiet. The hotel only offers breakfast as it doesn't have a restaurant and breakfast time can be busy up to 8:30am. Plenty of interesting restaurants to suit all tastes nearby.

Wonderful and quaint property that’s full of personality and detailed touches and centrally located..breakfast could have been better though.
