Not worth 48 bucks. more like 29.

Staff was nice when around. . roof leaked flooed the floor had to move rooms. . Could here pump running all night. . Toilet seats came and went and never were attached. . Really odd. . Bathrooms were dirty staff sat around. Had tkme too clean. breakfast was super expensive.

The construction from the neighbor wasn’t bothersome at all. Very Dirty The pool turning green The foams by the lounge area was Itchy and stinky. Very lazy service crew Sleeping in the lounging area, and face glued on their phone the whole day. Rooms were smelly. Just a really badly managed resort. Whoever made that comment that it’s under new management and things are going better is really a hoax. Don’t book here

The hotel is under new management and the owners are quite lovely! Overall, it was a nice little place to stay right on the beach. The Kite Boarding school was a great addition - we always had things to watch on the water. The rooms were basic, but everything was clean. The hotel was very quiet, there weren't any events in the bar area the entire time we were there - though there were a few friendly stray dogs that would howl in the night occasionally. It is a great location right in the middle of General Luna only a few minute scooter from Cloud 9. Breakfast was the only meal available from the hotel and started around 8am. We were up early so never took advantage of this. Wifi worked in the common area downstairs and worked most of the time. I believe we paid a discounted rate because of the renovations but I don't know if we would have been comfortable paying full price.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNTIL THEY FIX THEIR PROBLE

The room itself looked great and that is what drew my attention to it. However the shower had no water pressure, the air conditioner couldn't keep the room cool at all, the deep soakinhg bathtub was not working at all and they never once cleaned or changed our sheets and you do not have a tv or internet in the room. There is also about 10 wild dogs that barked and howled all night long and they never even tried to control the dogs or shu them away, they let them sleep on the same couches as the residents of the hotel use in the common areas.. We stayed 3 nights and the 3rd night we were there the hotel lost power and we sat in the dark all night long, while all the other hotels around us had power. The only good thing about the hotel was the manager, the son of the owner. He was very nice and tried his best to accommodate us, he even filled the tub by hand and bucket for me. Over all the hotel could be as nice as it looks with some updates and maintenance.. for me I will never book there again. It was frustrating and not enjoyable or relaxing to me, a waste of my time and money.. the beach of course was the only nice thing that the hotel had to offer, if they fixed the issues with the room and got rid of the dogs, I would consider going back there..

We really liked our 5 nights stay in viento del mar. Nice and friendly staff. Nice athmosphere. Possibility to have a good breeakfast, or to rent surfboards and take lessons or rent stand up paddle boards. Its located right next to the very pretty beach where there are almost no other people. Really great place. Also location is great in the center of general luna close to all restaurants and bars.

Do not stay in this resort. I repeat.. DO. NOT. STAY. IN. THIS. RESORT. We booked the ocean view room for 5D4N, and everything (except the view, the bed and the pillows) was horrible. 1. The featured bath tub in the room is not working. There’s no water. 🙄 2. The aircon is hardly working. We had to ask for an electric fan, and we were given an old, musty and almost falling apart one. 3. There was neither water nor electricity on our second night and third day. We then learned that they have a generator, but nobody cared to put it on. They also have a water tank, but we were told that they had no reserved water on it. 😡 4. There’s no restaurant. They only serve breakfast upon request. 5. Unhelpful staff. Their employees leave at 5PM, and go back to duty at 7AM the following day. They also turn off the resort’s cellphone when they are not in duty. We were left by ourselves every night. (Take Note: Do not ask anything from the lady staff who has an eye defect. She gets irritated whenever being talked or asked to.) 6. Their wifi hardly works, and it only works (sometimes) in the reception and pool area. There’s no wifi in the rooms. 7. Dirty water in the pool. They also have dogs who drink water from it. 😭 So if you want to experience Siargao at its best, DO NOT EVER stay in this resort. Take my word for it.

One of the most horibble place i ever been. The staff there is super rude. We came there and booked for 2 nights when we were in the reception. The second after we booked it online (was much cheaper) the woman at the reception told us there are construction near the hotel and that we will probably suffer from the noise. We didn't had any other option because we already paid. We didn't enjoy our first and expensive night(bad shower-Switching from boiling hot to freezing cold, construction noises) and asked to check out early, in the morning after. The reception lady told us that we will get a refund for the night we won't stay there, just need to wait to the owner that will come in the afternoon. We booked another hotel for this night. We came afternoon to check and the owner of the hotel shouted on us and told us we will get no refund. He pretty much kicked us out of there and was really agressive. We lost the money for that night. And got really scared by the manager.
