Fantastic Stay

Our trip to this island is fantastic and Bravo Beach Resort is probably one of the best places you can stay at when you are visiting Siargao Gen Luna. The staff were also nice and attentive, its just the system they have when it comes to ordering takes a lot of time before I can get my food/order. They will ask for a lot of questions and for my signature especially when Im already starving.

Nice hotel.

It’s fine. I liked the pool by the beach and the breakfast is fantastic. The only problem is the air conditioning is sucks i hate it when i got sweat in the room.

I love Bravo. It's an amazing resort. The price is really cheap the service is really amazing. The food is great.

They have a party there every Sunday night, if your not feeling up for a party don’t stay there on a Sunday night, the music is loud the talking is loud and every body from area is there, but if you like to party this is the place for you. you can’t sleep until midnight. PS. Food is not that good

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback from your stay with us! Every Sunday we have our After Surf Party in Bravo and I feel sorry you didn't enjoy it as mostly of our guests. Because of our guests we stop the music at midnight so it would not be too late. We also invite and inform the guest upon check-in that there will be a party at the restaurant and they are very welcome to join. Hopefully next time you visit you can tell us your preference so we can assign you to a room farther from the restaurant.

Cancellation Due to Typhoon NO RESPONSE FROM HOTEL

I am writing out of sheer frustration with my communication with the hotel. I was supposed to fly to Siargao on Feb 12, but due to Typhoon Basyang, all flights to and from the Island got cancelled. On the same day, we called the hotel to raise our concerns and the person at the front-desk, David, has confirmed that they will refund our booking in full since none of this was our fault. We were even told that our rooms have already been booked by other travelers who were also stranded in the island. We were also promised an email confirmation but NEVER got any confirmation. Since that day, we have constantly called the hotel several times and HAVE NOT gotten through. We resorted to emails and all we got were vague "Let me check with our manager.." or "Call Expedia". I resorted to calling Expedia and Expedia got back to me saying that the hotel DENIED our refund request. Despite our conversations and despite obvious safety concerns, BRAVO decided to keep my 4-night payment. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Hi Dinna, Apologies for not getting back on you sooner. Thank you bringing this issue to our attention. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as we strive to be of better in our service. I'm sorry that we have not been able to resolve this. The case is if you booked through an agency you also pay them directly and your agency is your contact person. Due to circumstances beyond our control such as cancelled flights, Bravo confirmed to Expedia the cancellation. Expedia didn't pay us because we were able to sell the room. However, refund has to be done with Expedia. Bravo does not have the amount you paid that is why you need to communicate with Expedia to expedite your refund request. Kind regards, Ching

Lovely, well designed resort right on the beach.

We got lucky with Bravo Beach Resort as our final destination in the Philippines. We'd had some less than positive experience with OTHER hotels, but Bravo was FANTASTIC. It's right on a nice beach area, the restaurant is top rated in all of Siargao (according to TripAdvisor) and the staff was very friendly. Since it rained a lot during our 4 days there, we spent a lot of time at the hotel itself, but we didn't mind. Probably the only thing we missed was wifi in the rooms. It's only available at the restaurant.
