Great staff. Super clean rooms and facilities. Easy parking spaces. Would definitely recommend.

The food was poor and very expensive. Evening meal used frozen vegetables. Very limited on vegetarian option. Very poor service for breakfast. Didn’t bring us tea and coffee following request, and got it wrong. Cooked breakfast limited and cold, asked for baked beans and the waiter didn’t understand my request, never got what I asked for again. The view from our bedroom window looked like a rubbish tip. Large rusting pieces of metal. Smashed plant pots with dead plants and old plastic bags. The cost of the hotel was expensive when compared to other 4 star hotels that we stayed in during our Irish holiday. We complained to the manager about these issues, but she didn’t act on our complaints. This hotel definitely doesn’t deserve a 4 star rating, at best a 3, but I would give it 2 star rating!

It was a decent stay. The staff was polite. We were satisfied with our one-night stay at this hotel.

This was such a beautiful hotel, with a great shower and comfy beds! The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. With the high temps, only having a little fan made sleeping next to impossible. Otherwise, this was a great hotel with an awesome pool!

Hotel is dated, shabby. Public areas are not particularly clean. Dirty carpets on hallways, fixtures and fittings are shabby and need replacing. Entrance not very welcoming - hard to spot where the entrance into the hotel was. Kettle in the room was leaking and caused the trip switches to short. Smoke alarm in the room was covered with a plastic bag - serious breach of fire regulations. We removed the bag covering the detector. Room overlooked a dilapidated old rooftop garden that was slowly rotting and falling apart - not very pleasant to look at. Certainly not to 4* standard. Hotel could use a complete overhaul and some investment. I wouldn’t return.

Not too impressive with the view of the room we stayed in, the bathroom sink is clogging while at use, and the smells of the room is not good either, it’s like you’re at the hospital.

Minimal Amenities in room (only hand soap and a shower cap), one of the mattresses needed to be replaced long before our stay.

This property is 15 minutes from downtown Galway but is an easy drive.
