Always love staying! Highly recommend but this time we should have been told about the power outage, no wifi, no Tv and especially no restarante. Especially because it poured all 4 days. That is no ones fault. However I will be back!

Returned to our room late at night after a day out to find property with no power. No notification to us or others staying there. No note on office all closed no one to help or emergency contact. Had to find our own accommodations at midnight. The next day returned to find out from office staff they had underground electrical fire and were to be closed for several days. No assistance in finding other accommodations nor any empathy towards their neglect to contact us the previous day. Nothing provided as compensation for our now inconvenience to have had to find other accommodations for our trip spending much time on phones and moving to another property. PISS POOR MANAGEMENT!! We were not even apologized to , I asked why we were not contacted and was told she would have to do that at home and couldn’t she just worked there. Not able to obtain any management contact info. Terrible !! They also did this to another family with small children. We found out later they moved some people who had discovered the problem during the day and inquired and contacted another couple just arriving in that day to let them know there was no power. We were told the next day they had no rooms in their building next door then found later they moved the couple just arriving. Nothing done for the current occupants. Very very upset as we have been loyal patrons multiple times since hurricane ian. Wow just wow I can’t believe we were left in the dark literally.

We do apologize for this situation, but we have no control over it. This issue was caused by the main electrical feed from the transformer junction box feeding our building from the other side of the street. We had no warning or any knowledge of the issue until the sparks were noticed, and the power company disconnected the line going to our hotel. We are still without power and working from extension cords from the one building with power to the resort office, and via generator for the tiki bar and kitchen. We tried to accommodate as many people as we could and contact everyone that we could. We lost power in our office as well as the building you were in and the tiki bar. A fraction of our resort had rooms as we were already close to being sold out, we in no way could move or accommodate everyone. I am glad you were able to stay at the hotel across the street, thankful they had rooms and were right next door. You were only charged for the first night of your stay, and refunded the rest of the amount that you paid when you checked in.You have stayed with us numerous times and know that things were already a challenge and we are working the best we can to get back to where things were. We continue to improve, and this is just another speed bump that we have to clear, we will and we hope you will keep coming back in the future to see the improvements as they happen.

Restaurant on premises was very good and inexpensive. Loved the area and so close to the beach. Staff was excellent.

You were not charged at the hotel, we issued a cancellation to Expedia and informed them to refund you in full due to the hotel not having electricity.

Everything was great. All that is needed to make place 5 star across the board would be a working elevator. I booked this place knowing of the elevator condition.

We apologize for the power issue. The problem is at the street and Florida Power & Light is playing a he said she said blame game instead of fixing the issue the figuring out who to bill for the problem. This is leaving half of our hotel and tiki bar with no power.

Property itself was great! Great location, great staff, and clean. The reason I only gave it 3 stars was because of the music at the bar. We were on the third floor and the live music was so loud it was rattling our windows… every night. They play live music until about 11 and then the bar remains open until 2am. Once the live music stopped, the bar music would continue until 2am. If you are a night owl/partier, I’m sure this would be great! If you are a morning person and like to go to bed early, I do not recommend unless you’re a heavy sleeper. Also, the rooms are bright at night. So bright that I would wake up at 3 am and think it was 7 or 8 am outside and the sun was up. So, bring an eye mask if you do decide to stay here. Again, place was a great location and great staff!
