We only spent one night, so we were happy to walk out the door and be right at the Firenze duomo. Great location, friendly staff, clean room. The staff was happy to hold our bags the last day after checkout time. Cute little tea and sitting area around the corner from the front desk.

All the reviews that say, the property is clean and the location is excellent are true. I’d also like to add that the staff is completely kind and helpful. The room on the other hand left a lot to be desired. It felt very motel or hostile like. We were only there one night but I don’t think we would stay there again.

The pros: excellent location and very clean room with new windows, newly painted rooms. Steps from the duomo, so you hear the church bells.
The cons: bare bones, no body length mirror, no safe in room, thin towels, meduim water pressure, no coffee maker. You can hear the bells from the church.

If you don’t mind hostel vibes then you may not mind this hotel, for me though it was a nightmare.

Dear Renee,First of all, we are very sorry that you did not have a good time in our hotel and about this review of yours which we find unconstructive and offensive for us who try to do our best for the structure which has been managed with tradition by our family for half a century. Offering common services such as a tea and coffee area are a PLUS and absolutely do not make us a hostel! During your stay you did not point out any problems to us apart from asking us how to close the room door from the inside for automatic locking. We are aware that we always need to improve our service and our structure but you as a guest have the duty to let us know during your stay to give us the opportunity to fix things promptly. Lovely hotel in very heart of Florence. We stayed three nights, arriving on Sunday 28 April 2024 and departing on Wednesday 1 May 2024, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
