Even though I had paid in full for my stay, my credit card was charged an additional $50. This was frustrating and the staff member wouldn’t get the manager for me. The carpet was stained and the decorative pillow on the bed was ratty and torn. The fitness room was closed. Breakfast was just okay. I won’t be back.

The hotel is in the middle of a busy shopping area near the mall.. not that I was there to shop. I needed a comfortable room to rest overnight from a long drive. Thanks to Expedia I got a great rate for a nice room for the night. The room was basic, but modern, clean, quiet. My only criticism is of the breakfast the eggs looked like white hockey pucks with a yellow center... not appealing at all. Need to switch to scrambled or something else.. Overall the stay was excellent.

In general everything was nice, however my room smelled of smoke. The smell improved with the AC on and it didn’t hinder my stay. Breakfast was nice. They had both warm and cold options

The room was so dirty and smelled, the cleanest spot maybe the bed but I question that.

I did not like the fact on the second day of our 6 day stay I started to have heart problems, I am 78 and my heart has been getting worse for the last few years, but I wanted to see my four great grand kids that I had yet to see. My daughter is an RN and lives in that area. She wanted me to say with he until she could get me on a plane home. We let the front desk what was going on and told them we needed to cancel the last four days of our stay. They would not refund us for the days we were not there. I feel that is really low and bad business. I will never pay up front or stay at any Howard Johnsons ever again. There are to many GOOD places to stay that have a reasonable Cancelation Policy,

It looked nice when driving up to it and they continued once inside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk arranged for us to have a shuttle to an event and it is greatly appreciated. The shuttle driver - Country- is very friendly and helpful. The room is pretty with the aqua/teal wall and curtains and accents. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. I’m looking forward to breakfast in the morning.
