Location was challenging due to traffic at certain times, 2 main factors that will not allow me to book another stay is. Pool closes at 7pm Laundry service had 5 outfits cleaned and the hotel charged us $1850 aed, not even 5 pounds of laundry… Plus a bunch of different miscellaneous charged at check out. M lounge is a scam not worth the additional charged that was pushed on me. WILL NO STAY ANOTHER NIGHT WITH YOU GUYS

The property was very well maintained and the service was excellent! Loved the 24-hr room service and the many restaurant dining options on property, even at the private beach. The rooms and the public areas were very well maintained. I appreciated the extra touches such as dimming the hall lights in the evening. Every meal I had at this property was delicious! (The coconut shrimp at the beach could use a little more seasoning though, at least a touch of salt included in the frying batter.)

Check in experience started off bad, I was just handed a room key and told where the elevators were. No mention of which floor I was on, anything about the hotel or the facilities, nor anything about breakfast times and included packages. It was a very poor experience, I was left searching for information. Once I finally found the room it was no better. First the bathroom door handle was broken so I could not open/close the door. Maintenance was called and they came about an hour later to fix it. After that, we noticed the bathroom sink was also broken, so we had to make another maintenance call for this. The next day I almost slipped in the shower as the shower railings were not attached at all, yet again another maintenance call, then to top it off the toilet holder was broken to we had to leave the toilet paper on the cabinet. Also the balcony light did not work at all. This is a frankly shocking experience from what is supposedly a 5 star hotel. It felt like anything I touched was prone to break. The rooms were not checked correctly as every day there was a new issue with the room. When I went to complain about this to the reception desk, the receptionist was quite rude and spoke down to me as if my issue was not worth his time. He also told me he can upgrade my room but it would cost me an additional charge. The next day we spoke to another receptionist who was more receptive to these issues and offered us a free upgrade. This room had no hot water or working balcony

I really liked our stay at the hotel, the staff was great, the location was great, and facility offerings were great. The restaurant selections and gym were outstanding. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the hotel's inability to refund me one night's stay. I originally booked through Expedia, and then needed to change my plans when I got there. Instead of staying 7 nights I stayed 6 and requested the cancellation of my last night's stay. Expedia said the hotel could cancel and refund and the hotel said they couldn't because of booking with Expedia. Either way I got the run around for something that could have easily been done. Very disappointing.
