The first night was good, the second one We cant sleep, loud music, People talking around our room

They’re about to raise the dog fee to $200 so we won’t return just because of that. We come down each year for a dog event and travel 6 hours. Our dog doesn’t bark, destroy things or even shed- but I get it. One person ruins it for everyone. As we walked down the hallway, the cleaning staff screamed so loud (woman afraid of dogs) that it scared my dog more than I think she was even scared. Why work at a dog friendly hotel if you’re that petrified of dogs (good dogs who wouldn’t have otherwise completely ignored her). On a positive note - free breakfast was great and the front desk staff were all awesome!

I've been staying at this hotel for years but will never be staying here again. I was quoted a pet fee and the rates were doubled without advising me. Expedia contacted the hotel twice and was met with indifference. I will be staying somewhere else next year and i will post on social media advising others to do the same 👎

The maid device consisted of fresh towels and remaking our bed with used sheets. This was the promised '"every other day" service. The dust and smell of the Renovation is ongoing and set off my husband's allergies every time we left our room. The hotel does look better. Breakfast has improved since our last stay. Staff was nice.

I have not verified what I am about to say...I think the hotel is not compliant with the ADA safety requirements in public places. Let me start by saying I am 76 and have difficulty moving around. I made reservations for the first time at Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach, DE. I was shocked to find an aging building lacking the creature comforts I would assume are available in the most basic motel chains in the country, but not in this establishment. I reserved a three-night stay but left after two nights, knowing I would not get a refund for the unused night. I felt that continuing my stay could likely result in bodily injury or worse because the tub was devoid of the most basic safety features, such as light, adequate grab bars, etc. I was forced to maintain one hand on the only bar outside the tub. As a result, I could not wash my hair or my body. After a few days, I could no longer leave the room due to my appearance.

Please note that we always do our best to meet guest needs and would have been happy to move you to an ADA room, which may have been more to your liking. The room you reserved was a standard room, but still equipped with a grab bar for safety, just not the inside bar as our ADA rooms is equipped. We follow all Federal ADA guidelines as they are established.
