Door was open when i got there. Room had no soap or towels. Toilet had issues

Overall, the property and my room were nice! My room was clean. I did not try the free breakfast so cannot comment. The problem that I had were with nasty, soiled bed sheets! I checked the sheets upon arriving to my room as I always do when staying in a hotel. All seemed well! I left for several hours and came back and prepared for bed. I got in bed and I kept smelling a funky smell in the bed that I could not figure out. I pulled the top sheet off and there was what appeared to be a dried poop stain on the corner of the top sheet that was resting on my chest. How disgusting! I was upset and called the front desk to complain and request fresh sheets. I was told the sheets were in the dryer and it would be 5 minutes. No apologies at all!! My nephews dropped off an item I left in their car and I told them what happened. They left and told the front desk that I was still waiting for the promised sheets. They called me and said it would be 15 more minutes. After 30 minutes I again called the front desk to inquire about the sheets. I was told that I needed to come down and pick them up! I had to leave my room in my pajamas and go to the front desk to pick up clean sheets! Wow! There was no mattress pad and the desk attendant did not understand what it was. So he accompanied back to my room so I could show him. He did tell me this had never happened before and helped me make the bed but I did not believe him. Leaving used sheets on a bed just because they look clean is unacceptable

Stay was fine. Nothing fancy. Breakfast was pretty much non existent. Bananas, dry cereal and muffins.

Waited 10 minutes for front desk to show up for check in, one of the beds had hair in the sheets, curtains were filthy, light switches were dirty and sticky, the room hadn't even been vacuumed, bathroom was dirty and hairy, the entire hotel stank of burned onions and very limited breakfast. Was also unaware at time of booking that a credit card would be necessary for incidentals. Very unhappy with this place.

First room we were given was not cleaned. Second room was ok, toilet set was loose. Awoke to fire alarms around 4:30 am. Stood outside for 45 minutes waiting for the alarm to be silenced.

It is in a great location there are restaurants around the rooms are old and outdated.
