Plenty of room
Posted 7 Sep 2023 on HotelsPerfect for what I needed, room was big, bed was big, fridge was big. Secure property and perfect location on Mitchell Street with walking access to all that was required. Awesome value for money and having free foxtel was a pleasant surprise/bonus. All in all, way better than I expected.

Posted 5 Sep 2023 on HotelsThe lady running Capitanos was very friendly and helpful. Truthfully I booked Capitanos solely based on the lower price and good reviews. It’s a basic room in a concrete block for a relatively high price, but everything in Darwin was super expensive at the time and I felt I got good value.
The bedding was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning and shower worked fine. There was a good fridge in the room.
The location is just a bit further from everything than you’d want, but overall the location was okay. We went to the Mindil Beach Sunset Market and the Convention Centre area, both of which were about 10-15 minutes scooter ride from Capitanos. We didn’t use the pool or laundry but they both looked nice.

Great Location on Mitchell Street
Posted 21 Aug 2023 on HotelsGreat location, handy to central Darwin. Leanne and Paul are awesome hosts. We had an issue with TV/Internet, they couldn't sort so moved us to another room.

The accommodation was nice, comfortable & compact. Would not be suitable for all as it is 2 story & no lifts. Staff were really helpful & friendly.

Thankyou for staying with us. Lifts are not possible here. From the ground to the first floor it is about 3 metres. The staircase is only 18 steps from ground to first floor. Regards Leanne
