Our stay at Columbus LaQuinta Hotel was a pleasant and enjoyable experience for the first three days of our stay. The room was spacious, and the glass enclosed shower was great. The mirrored closet door was a nice addition, except the position of the handle should have been on the opposite side for easier access. A continental breakfast was included. The king-size bed was fairly comfortable, but the television in our room was very dark, and we could barely see the picture, but it had ShowTime. Everything was going fine until our last night. That's when our peace and quiet was interrupted by loud hip hop music, people yelling and running up and down the hallway next to our room. After it got progressively worse, we reported it to the front desk clerk. We tried to get to sleep but it was impossible with the loud voices and music coming from the room next door. My husband and I were very disappointed, but we did not blame the hotel or the staff. Some people just don't care about anyone but themselves. Luckily the chaos stopped about 1am in the morning and peace was restored. Other than that, unfortunate incident, we enjoyed our stay, and would consider staying there again because of the convenient location to shops and restaurants.

Check in was at 3, my room wasn't ready until 8 pm, the floor on half the room is soaking wet and the bathrooms not very clean. Rusty lamp. The air conditioner is extremely noisy.

The property’s ice machine is on the second floor, on the other end of the hotel from the disabled room I’m staying. The toilet is situated in such a way it makes hard to transfer.

Staff was excellent and accommodating. Everyone was polite and front desk put me in a room very close to desk and breakfast area, because I was a single female traveling. It is a decent hotel, but not in the greatest part of town and I noticed unloading my car at the front, the pool was absolutely disgusting. It had not been cleaned for the season yet. Not that I planned to swim, But that is one of the first things you see to the left when you pull upfront to unload your bags and walk into the front desk area. Breakfast was your basic Continental hotel breakfast, but the staff was very sweet and hospitable. My room faced out back to a parking lot with a walkway, and the shades were semi transparent, which made made me nervous. I cannot close the main blackout shades.
