I have mixed feelings about my stay in this hotel

I'm easily impressed and do not complain about minor flaws, but this hotel left left me with mixed feelings. I guess you cannot have high expections at this price range. The staff didn't speak bad english, they spoke NONE. The receptionist communicated with me thru a smartphone translator. ( I think those apps are killing our motivation for language learning). First she didn't find my booking. Thank heavens they had wifi so I could show them my reservation from hotels.com. Then she left and came back and after a few more minutes of typing and clicking she gave me my keys. She gave no instructions how to find the room. The housekeeper helped me but was visibly irritated. The room was nice and clean, but it was not a non-smoking room that I had requested when booking. But in china there's no point in argueing. Probably they won't even understand you. The room had no window, which was probably mentioned when I booked it. But still I found it to be very depressing. On two occations during my stay the receptionist tried to get more money from me. I already had paid the deposit fee. After asking why do I have to pay extra, they changed their mind and said that everything is ok. Really strange customer service...

Staff helpful but had almost no English. Restaurants across the road had no menus in English so I chose something someone else was eating. No WiFi in room only in Lonny

I enjoyed it and the room served it's purpose. It was close to public transportation. Room was clean, comfortable and just what I needed for my travels and sight seeing.

Cons: 冬には暖房がほしいです。ややラブホテル的な雰囲気があるので、それは改善した方がよいと思いました。
フロントでは英語は一切通じません。 ただ、ホテルスタッフは問題なく、身振り手振り、漢字を混ぜれば問題ありませんでした。 クーラーはあるのですが、暖房がないということで、冬にはあまりお勧めしません。 施設はどうしても値段なりなので、錦江之星チェーンの方が快適かもしれません。 バスタブは当然ありません。シャワールームが室内からも見えるガラス張りになっていました。シングル利用であれば問題ないと思います。地下鉄の駅まで、徒歩5分圏内です。上清寺路行きの空港バスにのって、降りたところでタクシー(10分圏内)、40元以下で済むと思います。(吹っかけてきますので、簡体字の地図にホテルの位置、住所を示したものを持っていると、勝手に値切り合戦を始めるので、あまり心配はありませんでした。今回は北京語のできる人とともに行ったので、スムーズでした。)

Väldigt fräscht och fint hotell. Riktigt fräscha toaletter! Tyvärr kunde nästan ingen i personalen ett enda ord engelska, men dom försökte ändå hjälpa så gott dom kunde.
