The room had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. There was an onsite restaurant with excellent meals and service.

Clean and tidy. Check in easy. Fittings and rooms comfortable but a bit “tired”.

Thank you Pauline for taking the time to review. We currently have new beds, tv's and carpet and are slowly but surely improving our beautiful old girl without taking away from her. The Chinchilla Great Western is over 40 years old and we certainly don't want to modernise her too much. We are happy you enjoyed your stay.

A little thing was that there was no small bottle of detergent, necessary if staying longer than a few days and
The Pool was very unsafe no rail down the steps, broken bricks (needs new tiling), frogs/toads in the pool.

Thank you so much for your review and feedback. We are in the process of getting a hand rail for the pool in order for it to feel safer. The bricks and tiling has been fixed and our friendly frogs get in the pool daily, sometimes within hours so we are always 'rescuing' them.

We’re a family of 5. The kids could go outside and play, kick a ball or have a swim. The room was large enough to accommodate 4 beds with ample room to move around. The kitchenette was sufficient for us to make toast for breakfast saving us on restaurant bills. We would happily return here on our next visit to Chinchilla.
