While the concept is understandable, having little staff at the hotel is just not a great idea. Although when I did have problems, the text response was great, a housekeeper had to let me into my room and basically 'checked me in'. The coffee maker and water dispenser were consumer grade-there were no instructions on how to add water to the small reservior for the coffeemaker. I have one so it wasn't a problem. But the large water bottle ran out early in the am and it took awhile for it to be changed.
It just feels like you're not providing great service, but still charging the rates of a hotel with amenities and services.
Overall I did like the property! Great location and nicely appointed.

Wonderful property. Very cool space. Tons to do. Right next to wrigley. Definitely stay again.

Loved the decor and everything we needed was so close. Very clean and easy check in. Highly recommend!

Smaller but very cool rooms. The outdoor patio in my room was very unique.

I was out till 3 am, tried using the key I was first given when I first checked in and it didn’t work and I was stuck outside for at least 30 mins trying to get in the rain. I don’t know if there’s a way to resolve that issue but it definitely ruined the night

It might be a good idea to bring this up with the hotel staff or management to ensure it doesn't happen again in the future. We provide extra keys outside in our lockboxes as you were instructed when you checked in.
