This is one of the pricy one I’ve stayed in ChaiYi. It was nice and not too hard to park. We walked to the night market which is about 15 minutes. The best find from staying there was the message place next door. It was great and the price was friendly. It was very busy so we went there around 1am. It was worth it though.

Room is super modern and spacious. And location is near train station and convenient store. near to night market as well. And inhouse bar serves amazing drinks! will visit again!

Mega Hotel was a very fun and kid-friendly hotel as there was a playground with slides and a ball pit in the lobby.
The room was big with an entire honeycomb playground inside with a small car for kids to drive around. The two TVs were big with nice channels and the beds were wide and comfy. The housekeeping was very nice and they arranged my kids’ soft toys nicely.
However, two of the arcade machines in the lobby did not work at all. The breakfast was kid-friendly as well and had many cute food that my kids loved. They also handed out gachapon toys to the kids who ate breakfast.
Breakfast could be improved, we tried America beef, pork, Hong Kong and vegetarian. Latte was diluted. The washing machine and dryer were a bit more expensive (nt50 each wash) than the ones at Tai Chung (nt30 each).
Overall, Mega Hotel was great and I will definitely recommend this to parents with kids.
