Posted 5 Jul 2017 on HotelsPerfect location. Literally in the imperial park. Quite and clean. ancient style. Only pitfall is you need to tell the server you need them to help with luggage although you are elders and there are quite a few stairs.

Excellent location, decent hotel, very quiet
Posted 10 Sep 2018 on HotelsNice decent rooms with decent beds. Very chinese hotel. Excellent location 3 min from summer palace and walking distance to town. Hotel is very quiet! Expensive for what it is but probably the best hotel in town. Had 2 courtyard rooms

Petit déjeuner cher et franchement pas très bon (à savoir que le petit déjeuner compris dans le prix de la chambre n'autorise que la version chinoise ; les petits déjeuners occidentaux et américains sont plus chers et non compris !)
Expedia annonce "petit déjeuner inclus" mais il n'y a qu'un petit déjeuner compris même si vous êtes 2!
Le prix des chambres est tout de même un peu exagéré !

décalage entre le luxe extérieur et la réalité
Posted 25 Apr 2014 on HotelsComme prévu, l'emplacement et l'architecture extérieure sont exceptionnels. Mais grande déception ensuite: les chambres disponibles sont placées dans le moins beau bâtiment, en retrait du jardin, et sans lumière. La chambre pourrait être très agréable, mais le service n'est pas à la hauteur; le petit déjeuner, annoncé en buffet, est en réalité servi à l'assiette, et sans intérêt gustatif. La réception se donne des airs supérieurs, mais n'est en fait pas efficace. On demande qu'on appelle un taxi, et rien ne se passe... Bref, l'ensemble est très décevant, même si l'emplacement est le meilleur de la ville.
