Location was excellent for my visit. Having only one working elevator meant long waits.

The price was too high for what we got. There was a fridge in the room but no microwave. My friend bought something that needed to be microwaved and the desk clerk didn’t inform her to heat the food in the lobby. She got to our room and had to go back downstairs. There was damage near the floorboard by the a/c unit. The location is in a dangerous location for entering and more so for exiting. If we hadn’t prepaid, then we would have gone elsewhere.

Loved the view from the room and the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was nice and dinners I had there were good. Room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and it was a 5 minute drive to historic Charleston. The hotel also offered hourly drop offs and pick ups in the center of the historic district. Only negative was that there was only one elevator working the entire week i was there. At busy times you could have a wait and sometimes have to wait for it to come back if it was full.

Comfy beds, shuttle to downtown was nice. Upstairs restaurant smelled like body odor so bad we couldn’t even stay for a quick drink .

Staff is very nice. Hotel located outside of downtown, surrounded by high ways. Not able to walk to anyplace. But if you drive a car, it is convenient for you. There is a shuttle to downtown, but unfamiliar, drive had emerged, we waited for 30 mins passed pick up times, found out that no shuttle that time.

The pros to this property include a friendly and helpful staff, the downtown shuttle service being so convenient, the comfortable bed, and room cleanliness. Cons include thin walls where we could clearly hear people in the hallway and the room next door and the shower had little pressure and no hot water about half the time we used it.
