Avoid

Posted 12 Feb 2017 on Hotels
The room was dark and had a strong moldy smell. The staff was barely ever present, other than the wonderful security guard who was extremely helpful. We asked for wine and they did not have any, had to wait 45 minutes for a warm bottle of white wine. Wouldn't recommend this place.

For Younger Guests

Posted 15 Feb 2016 on Hotels
This hotel may have been great for younger or more Bohemian style guests. We asked for two beds and were given two separate, cement walled rooms and a open bathroom across the way. The rooms themselves were sparse and didn't look very clean. The bathroom was open--meaning it had no roof. A workman appeared over the wall as I was washing my hands--I could have been in the shower or using the toilet!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Great staff and owners. We will be going back next time we are in Bali.

Lovely place

Posted 13 Sep 2015 on Hotels
Hotel is lovely, Kevin & staff were extremely good. Having stayed in the canggu area many times before, this place was a few minutes too far down a very dark section of road to walk safely at night, would recommend taxi or bike to others. Otherwise the hotel itself cannot be faulted!

Lovely small hotel close to the beach and cafes

Posted 11 Sep 2015
Pros: Staff are super friendly and helpful Hotel guest areas are beautiful Breakfasts are excellent
Cons: Brighter reading lights by the bed
Location: This hotel is close to Echo beach and good local cafes.
The Voyager is a lovely, small hotel close to the Echo beach and to several excellent cafes. We stayed recently for 7 nights. Comfy beds, aircon rooms with fans and outdoor showers. Especially lovely is the central guest area with gorgeous tropical plants, a small pool and cafe area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are top notch - try Ida's scrumptious banana pancakes and the homemade muesli, tropical fruits and yogurt. A note if you are sensitive to traffic noise ask for a room away from the motorbike shortcut. Rooms are a quieter over the other side of the hotel. Many thanks Voyager for a great stay.

Pros: Beautiful rooms with outdoor private garden
Cons: More room insulation from noise
Location: Great location. Short walk to cafes and bars. Nail and massage place almost next door.
Lovely presented rooms complete with outdoor shower and spa and modern rustic charm. Extremely friendly staff (Noel and Yule) and a decent breakfast. Fine location close enough to cafes and bars without being right amongst it. The only downside is a bit of traffic noise as it is located on a busy thoroughfare.

Afslappet oase centralt i Canggu
