The shower riser rail was broken and loose. Both bedside lights were damaged, loose and did not work

Fantatadtic helpful staff. Richard on the reception in the was a credit to the hotel. As was the lady who brought our meal to the table.
The evening meal was delicious, and just the correct temperature.
The bad was a bit lumpy, but considering the hotel was right next to a busy A14, there was no teafgic to be heard.

Smooth process throughout. Rooms good size. Service station facilities next door was very practical.

Poor standard - no soap in hand dispenser, shower poor level of cleanliness, carpet unclean, overall very tired and poor level of cleanliness.

Convenient location - did the job we needed it to do. Handy food options within the hotel and next door. Good beds, good bed configuration for a family room. Facilities exactly as needed. Would definitely recommend for a stay while travelling. Friendly staff.

It's not expensive for what it is compared to other companies in the area. It has a 'well used' feeling about it. It could do with a refreshment it is convenient for the motorway. That's it's best attribute.

Firstly, the property is no way close to the images shown. It's shabby, dirty and rooms were a hot furnace even at temperatures of 15 degree C.
We had booked for 2 nights, couldn't sleep the 1st night and due to the shabby state, felt sick as well. However, on complaining, the staff at reception (Josh) apologised and agreed for a full refund, so we checked out of the hotel after 1st day of stay. However, i have been following up with the manager Louise as per suggested email by josh and there is no reply or response about the refund. Please refund my money and improve the state of the hotel.
