We booked a room for the night and woke up at 8am to jackhammering and cranes outside our room. There is major construction that we were not told about

Beautiful but beware if you are celiac/gluten free

The good: beautiful hotel, accommodating staff, TnT restaurant and Yaya restaurant were both very good. The bad: Comal restaurant was disappointing. My wife has celiac and cannot eat gluten. During our three night stay at Chileno Bay, we ate at Comal twice (a dinner and a breakfast) and she food was cross-contaminated with gluten on these two occassions. Disappointing as we were only there three nights and she was sick our entire stay. Not so great when paying the price we paid.

The liquor prices were unfortunate and downright silly...325.00 USD for Tito's vodka when you can buy it in the supermarket for 37.00 USD....Auberge is being silly and or stupid treating people like that...The rest of wines and alcohol are equally silly....Also they tag guests for additional 700.00 for service charge when you check in....that should be disclosed upon pricing the resort....Will not go back nd the food was nothing inspirational and awfully salty.....Great people work there but I think management has let them down....
