The Air Conditioning Unit wasn’t working. Although on the surface it was cleaned, there was mildew on the window sills and a deep clean of drapes, window sills, walls and shower curtain is due. If your expectation is more of a campground than a hotel, then it might meet your expectation. The location is great and staff were very friendly.

I've stayed here a few times now because they offer awesome value for money, in my experience and opinion. I have searched for a place to stay around Byron for the last 5 years and in my opinion Glen Villa has offered the best bang for $$$. It offers numerous options which are generally relatively cheap when compared to other options. Having stayed there now over the course of 4 different years, I really appreciate just how convenient and what good value for money they are.

Great location within walking distance to the main area and beach.

Nice holiday park but for the price the property needs some work. Basic things like flywire screens for the cabins, & umbrellas for the pool area for sun protection really short be included for basic traveller comfort & safely.

Only entrance door for the cabins are not equipped with a mosquito screen for safety reasons. You are absolutely right for the sun umbrellas. We will try to implement that before your next visit. Pleasant stay, close to town
Posted 7 Jan 2024 on HotelsExperience is as expected for a cabin in a caravan park. Pros are that there is pretty good wifi throughout the property including in the cabins and at the pool. Cabin was clean, had bath towels and basic cooking utensils. Checkin was easy and there was plenty of parking space out the front of the cabin. Also, it’s a very short walk to shops and restaurants .
Cons are that on New Year’s Day the pool closed early at 4pm because the staff went home and it couldn’t be left unattended. That was a real bummer. Also, the photo of the beach with the description “view from property” is completely inaccurate - the park is about 15 mins walk from beach (view from property is of a main road).

Dear Genevieve, thank you very much for choosing to stay with us. Our cabins are indeed, fully equipped with your own kitchen, and your own bathroom. We are providing towels, and if you need beach towels, you can request some at the reception. Every cabin or campsite has enough space for the guests to park their vehicles. We are only 4 minutes walking from the main street of Byron Bay, and 10 minutes walking from the main beach. We are apologising for the inconvenience linked to the swimming pool on New Year's day. We understand how frustrating it can be. We are in the centre of Byron Bay, but not right next to the beach. You can find our location on Google maps or directly on our website.
