We really liked the affordability and convience of Brisbane International. The staff were friendly and accomdating. The location was also good for an event we were attending and the amenities were good. The 2 bedroom apartment fit a family of 5 comfortably.

The reception staff were all lovely but can’t say the same about a senior restaurant staff member. I ended up leaving the restaurant before I even ordered and walked across the road to subway for dinner instead. I’ve spoken to the complex about the experience. The room was clean but needed maintenance - plaster off the wall, freezer iced over, mould in shower, no screen on the window, bathroom vent so loud it sounded like a helicopter taking off. The bed was very comfortable though and I did get a decent sleep.

We had a one night stay on new years eve as we were flying out of Brisbane New Years Day. The room had obviously been shut up before we arrived as it was super hot when we opened the door. Lucky for the aircon. It was an ok stay, nothing to rave about, a bit dated. And it was unfortunate the restaurant was closed over the xmas/new year period. We asked for a late checkout but they were only able to give us till 10.30 so it was lucky we had family who were able to pick us up to spend the day with them.

We appreciate it's very hot at the moment, but we have great air-cons in the rooms which will get the rooms cool nice and quick.We were super busy at the time you stayed, and sometimes it's not possible to do a later check out. We are glad to at least give you a little extra time.Apologies for the Rocklily Restaurant being closed.
