Room we stayed in was on the third floor. Low ceilings, dated furniture and came with curtains that did nothing to block the 500 AM sun rise.
Breakfast was a surprisingly bad and with a limited selection. You're given a 5 minute window to be arrive despite the place being empty

I love the property. It was beautiful. It was exactly what we were looking for. I do have to say if you stay there be prepared because we were on the fourth floor and there are no elevators, but that’s the Charm about that B&B But guess what? I made it up and down the stairs, beautiful property and I want to think everyone now.

Only thing i didn't like was the text check in and breakfast text booking as i had no text due to overseas phone with wifi only.

Our stay at the Salem Inn was absolutely wonderful! we stayed for 3 days/2 nights and everything was so convenient. The contactless check in was awesome - much easier than big name hotels I have stayed with. We easily received an email with both the front door code and the code to our room and never had issues with either. The staff was in touch often via text to check if we needed anything or if we would be having breakfast there.
Hands down, a great, historic inn with a super convenient location. Easy to walk around downtown and right across from the Witch House! We'll be back for sure!

Salem Inn was historical with a touch of modern. Friendly staff with great communication. The room was clean and cozy.

Convenient location. Easy check in. Loved the finches in the lobby. We looked forward to hearing them each time we walked in. Easy communication with the front via text. Respectful and helpful employees. Breakfast menu is extremely limited but I still enjoyed each thing I got and I’m a very picky eater.

The options for check in/out using text/online service was super helpful. The staff we did see were nice and accomodating to our early check in. Would absolutely stay there again!

I thought this place would be exceptional because of the listed reviews. It was only average. No elevators, and we were on the third floor and had to use a "dumb waitor" for our luggage. One person at the desk and no one to check to see if we could get a lower floor. All check in and out done by cellphone. Breakfast was a plus. Had to make a res for that. Room was clean but old. Could not control the heat. It is conveniently located to downtown, but I would no stay here again. Parking on the street non existent. Had to park a block and a half away.

We would like to thank the staff at the Salem Inn for hosting our family they went above and beyond to make all of us feel very welcome and right at home. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here again!!
