This room was so gross. Stained bedding, dirty spots on the walls, and no housekeeping was done during our 5 night stay. We did have to change rooms because our first one started smelling like the sewer. Pay more and stay somewhere else, not here.

I loved that we got an upgrade, but didn't like how crowded the dining area was, but the service was still good.

Great location, but you have to pay for parking which seems silly when there are plenty of spots. The hotel lobby and mezzanine are nicely decorated but the rooms and facilities are in need of repairs. Pool cleanliness was questionable and dirty towel bin was overflowing. Continental breakfast was a crowded and chaotic buffet without any direction on flow or where lines began. QR code in room suggested room service but guest services said we would have to order at the bar / come down. The 3 stars go to pleasant staff and a decent location close to good restaurants.

The hotel is very nice, well-appointed, and clean. However, I tried calling the front desk at three different times during my stay and no one answered the phone at any point. When I finally went downstairs, the person at the desk said he was the only one there and so couldn't answer the phone. For the price, I'd have expected a bit more service in guest services. Also, the fact that you have to pay $15 a day to park is ridiculous. It's not like they have to valet park your car in downtown Boston. They have a large parking lot. In Waltham. You are not as fancy as you want to seem, Embassy Suites. Finally, the continental breakfast was really subpar. The eggs were gross. What was labeled 'Greek Yogurt' was clearly just strawberry Dannon yogurt dumped into a bowl. Again, for the price, I expected more.

Saves a lot of money. Just outside of Boston.
