Proximity to the Bordeaux airport and the new tram line that gives to the airport and downtown. Rooms are small but comfortable with the essentials for a short stay to catch an early flight. Nothing more. The BARE essentials!!

The Avis rental was just fine but what I’m very unhappy about is Expedia’s sale of collision damage insurance. Turns out it is NOT part of the rental from Avis so if anything goes wrong you still have to pay Avis and then presumably try to get your money or part of it back from Expedia’s insurer. And buried deep in the terms is the exclusion of people over 70. So I paid as much as a day of rental to Expedia for nothing. They know my birthday, I’m pretty annoyed.

Personal at the counter lack ... smile? Friendliness? If you don t like helping customers, don t do this job! When i ask for an aspirin (none at the distributor, but somehow condoms?!) at midnight to the concierge she told me she didn t have any and didn t feel the least concern for my splitting migraine and my ready to die look on my face.... sorry will never go back. Money is no object. I can pay more for people that know how to smile and are ready to help their customers.

Exactly what I was expecting and had paid for. A functional hotel, suitable for overnight stay before a flight. It was a little noisy from about 5am with people getting flights.
