Stay away from this place, it is horrible.

AVOID!!!! This place is horrible. Rude staff, ask for extra money unnecessary for 'no show' which wasnt the case for us and didnt even get a receipt. she scammed us! Dirty bed sheets, dirty towels, in a isolated place on a steep hall with a barking dog thats always noisy and throws up whilst we were eating breakfast. STAY AWAY

Not recommended, misleading amenities

I would not recommend this place unless you really want a cheap place to stay with a pool. Upon arrival we were given a wrong room, a triple room so they just put an extra bed when we booked a quadrupole family room. They fixed it with a nice room but at the 3rd floor so you have to climb up. The hotel is located up the hill so you have to climb a hill then climb up to the room. Good if you’re exercising but bad for older people. The amenities on the listing was not there. Not toiletries no welcome gift or what so eve. You’ll just get a room. Our room was big that the aircon can’t make it cool. One of the staff is not friendly but the others are. We asked for toilet paper that should have been in the room but the staffs said we need to get that from a convenience store lol. I would never go back here to recommend this place

Property is located at station one on Boracay. In close proximity of the beach, restaurants, and recreational activities. Staff were kind and assisted with smooth check in.

All the staff were some of the nicest people I have ever met! Cherry was very warm and welcoming.

Poor choice

The hotel itself is out of the way and difficult to get too up a steep hill. Amenities were a bit tired and worn. Breakfast was poor . Jury the barman/ chef/ Jack of all tradestried his best to please but Would never return. Wi-fi was weak and the lady on the desk had to lend us a personal one. The transport too and from the airport was very expensive more than suggested on here. Not the hotels fault but two hours a night the air-con has to be switched off due to no power after the last typhoon.

Staffs are accomodating the problem is the genset is not enough for the needs of the place they need to switch off for 2 hours or more.

Hotel worthy to consider

The hotel was quite a walk from the beachfront so it was a little inconvenient to walk back and forth, especially if you have forgotten something. On the other hand, the staff were so attentive to our needs, taking special care to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From the welcome drinks, to serving breakfast and even helping us find transport at dawn for our trip back, their service was excellent. The hotel was small enough, containing maybe only 8-10 rooms so there was an absence of chaos and noise accompanying a large establishment. Having a small pool was a plus. The only downside, which was not a fault of the hotel nor its staff was the absence of electricity in the whole island of Boracay as a result of a storm hitting the island just a few days before our arrival.The hotel had a genset, which they had to shut off for a few hours starting early dawn which caused some inconvenience. All in all, I would rate Champions Place a 6.5 out if 10.
