My family booked this hotel thinking it looked like the pictures on the internet – it didn’t; the Sofitel Biarritz needs an URGENT refurbishment as it looks awful. This Sofitel property should be taken away the 5* status immediately, as in reality, it has the condition of a 3*. The carpets across the hotel are extremely old, the terrace of my room was falling apart (see pictures), and the entire outside is oxidated and looks like an old hotel in very poor condition. The pictures in my review speak for itself. If you wish to have an awful experience as I did room 412 and experience the awful holiday, book the Sofitel!

Amazing Staff amazing place. Although the property probably would require a bit revamping it’s still amazing. I would recommend and come back.

Loved the view, the sound of the ocean waves on the shore, and proximity to everything! The staff was amazingly nice and friendly. Good food and drink.
