Room was clean and tidy. However, I booked and paid for a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 people but only one bed was made when we arrived. I had to pay extra for more bed linen which hadn’t arrived by the time we left the cabin for the afternoon. When we got back late that night the linen was there but the bed hadn’t been made and there was only a light blanket and a single sheet. The weather was cold so luckily there was a spare blanket in the cupboard but it was still too cold over night and I had to put in extra clothes to stay warm.

The so called standard cabin was in poor repair - not able to lock screen door as no key and hole in wire. Inside it was dirty and there were black spiders, one which landed on myself. The sofa was unusable and the sewerage pipe ran under the cabin, making loud noises. When advised re spiders the manager agreed to an upgrade to a "deluxe cabin" which was indeed clean and more spacious.

I am very happy to respond to this review. Two guests booked our standard cabin after viewing photos on Expedia and for a very reasonable, standard price. The issues reported by guest 1 were the bed in the 2nd bedroom was not comfortable enough for her friend who later stated she has a disability in her hip that pain is exacerbated by driving, they previously stated she had driven a long way on the arrival day. Perhaps a consideration of one's health issues when booking accommodation is in order. Then guest 1 demanded an upgrade because a spider was in the cabin. I was left with the uncomfortable feeling the behavior of guest 1 was not an uncommon practice. There was never any mention of the cabin being unclean or the noisy pipes and the lounge is quite serviceable. The guests would be better advised to book into establishments such as the Hilton and pay accordingly.

The standard cabin booked was unclean and had spiders inside. The sofa unusable, but the manager was prepared to upgrade to a deluxe cabin which was both clean and larger.
