Staff were friendly and check-in was super quick! Property was clean and modern. There was a storm durning my stay and we lost power but only for a short time. Overall I highly recommend.

Very small rooms, no drawers, no closet, metal bar above suitcase table for hanging clothes, tiny desk that rolls under TV, poor continental breakfast, my toilet didn't work and since maintenance was not available, they had to switch my rooms requiring me to pack and unpack again. Poor excuse for a Hilton.

The compact room size, lack of real closets and drawers, tiny roll-out desks, etc., are attributable to the modern European simplistic hotel design style produced by Hilton. The room design is by Hilton to have guests create a more inclusive room space by using nooks under the bed or the ledge on top of the AC units. While our rooms are small, they have been thoughtfully designed to maximize space with efficient storage. Sadly, there's not much we can do about the concept design of the TRU brand. Nonetheless, we thank you for raising your concerns with us, and we have noted your comments to share with the Tru by Hilton leadership team at Hilton. We apologize that our breakfast did not particularly appeal to you. We have taken your feedback on board and will work on improving our breakfast quality. We are very sorry about the toilet issue that caused some disruption to your experience. We understand that such scenarios can be inconvenient, and we assure you that our team does perform preventative routines to ensure our guest room features are functioning efficiently; however, despite our sincere efforts, sometimes things do happen between checks. Your feedback is valuable to us, as we are constantly improving and evolving based on what we learn from our guests. Thank you for sharing your insights. The hotel was close to a lot of dining options as well as the LSU campus. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

All of the staff at the property were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The property was clean and staff was always willing to help- from the front desk, to cleaning staff and breakfast attendants. Loved it!
