We did not have any problem with the hotel cleanliness, as reviewed by others. The staff were very friendly and attentive. During our booking, we had requested for 2 rooms furthest from the lift lobby. We were given the furthest room on the highest floor.
Also, this was not our first choice to stay around the area. We ended up here because our first choice hotel (which is more expensive) was fully booked. But when we arrived in Batam, Artotel had looked newer and more modern than our first choice hotel.
Will be back again.

Posted 31 Jan 2024 on HotelsThis was my 2nd time staying at Artotel & the experience was wholistically pleasant; right from entering the hotel entrance being greeted with a friendly welcome & leaving the as we checked out.
Location was accessible to Grand Batam Mall which made it more convenient.

5 mins walk to Reborn massage. Second time I am staying here. Spacious rooms, clean toilet. Could have added spare toilet roll. Room had left over rubbish from previous occupier and area in the corner wasn't clean.
Still, great stay overall and I would return.

overall our stay was excellent. Everything was in order except that no hand towels were provided. Maybe the chamber maid was absent minded and forgot to include it with the bath towels. No problem we just called reception to request for the hand towels.

1 night stay at Artotel
Posted 19 Dec 2023 on HotelsThe hotel chambermaid did not do a good job. a pair of slippers was left on the coffee table together with the cups and coffee machine.
Only 1 roll of half used toilet roll is available in the room.
The hairdryer's handle is broken, i have to hold the joint wnen using to prevent it from bending back.

Is near grand Batam shopping mall and walkable distance to Batam city square mall. Lots of massage shops near the hotel. A morning market with local foods to eat. Local snacks shops open till evening if you need to get some. More eating options nearby
