Lovely rooms and a great location. The only things that let it down are that staff will not call taxis and room service is confusing.

I had stayed at the Davis in 2020 before Covid. I liked it very much. The rooms were clean and in much better condition. Our room did not look as good. The netting was missing from our 4 poster bed and there was a good amount of dust and dirt under the bed and couch. My wife has some alergy problems and this condition did not help her. The pool area was not very clean and it just looked like it was not well maintained. Although the area is very noisy outside, the room we had on the 9th fllor was very quiet. The snack shop coffee shop was no longer open and I was told to use the Starbucks at the end of the block. Their prices were quite high as usual. I am sad to say I will not be staying there again.

The higher floors have a great view of bangkok. The a/c controls were a bit finicky, but still worked. You can't open the window in your room. Not a bad place to stay.

An older hotel, with very very old school charm. Needs a make over to get rid of the 70’s and 80’s odor. The staff did accommodate my issue of noise from the night club in the lobby of the hotel. Decent gym and grat roof top pool.
