Within Banff proper city, but a bit of a walk into downtown - less traffic, but not near any shopping. Boutique hotel, very charming, catering to couples, with a woody's motif. The complimentary smores are a nice touch and decent breakfast offering.

The staff were friendly at arrival, easy check in and the rooms are lovely, clean. The view of the mountains are spectacular!
