Easter stay in Ballarat
Posted 12 Apr 2023 on HotelsHad a lovely stay at Heritage on Lydiard. Our room was at the back so very quiet, with secure off street parking. Very clean, spacious room. The only thing I would complain about, there was no soap holder in the shower, and there were blankets on the bed, which were quite heavy. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable and there were spare blankets and pillows in the cupboard. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping and dining. Car parking is a little complicated but we got used to where the laneway was that we were supposed to turn into. I am not sure if there is enough parking for all rooms in the hotel, however, we managed to get a spot each time we returned, even though one time it was the last one left! The room we were in was facing Lydiard Street, which was a bit noisy over the weekend nights, but that is to be expected. Staff were friendly. The room was nice, clean and had a good shower!

We understand some of our guests may get confused with the location entrance for our carpark, unfortunately, when you are dealing with a heritage-listed property we are only able to renovate so much. Our carpark does offer enough space for one car per room, but that does fill up quite fast over busy weekdays and weekends. We do also understand your comments in relation to weekend noise, our team do their best to accommodate our guests with minimal noise disturbance but unfortunately, some of this is out of our control.
