The fire alarm went off at 1 am for the second night in a row. Guests evacuated, staff told us we could go back to our room, but then we were told by other staff not to bc the fire department need to test for CO2. Guests stood outside for almost 2 hours with no communication or feedback. Staff were aggressive, exclaiming they would not be giving any refunds. Fire Department determined the smoke alarm was set off by someone smoking in the lobby restroom. The elevators did not function, even after the alarm was cleared. The next morning all guests were carrying their luggage up and down multiple flights of stairs. -Breakfast is cold cereal, not typical HIE breakfasts. -No toiletries in the restroom. Typically HIE has shampoo, conditioner, face & hand soap. -Trash cans were overflowing in the halls.

This hotel was not very welcoming the elevator floors were sticky and smelly kind of like bug spray. Then the hotel posted a note saying that tomorrow the water will be turned off from the 11am until 5. I did not stay the night in this hotel even after I had paid, I’m not sure who own this hotel but the need to do better a lot.

The person who took us from the airport to the hotels is fabulous...the people who checked us in for unimpressive and Morning people were rather abrupt
