Hotel was great. The area around (like most in Athens) empty building, lots of graffiti everywhere. It looks like a poor, old city.

Overall, I'd rate The Stanley as excellent. The hotel is very modern and clean, though the bathroom/shower is a bit tight. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of items sufficient to start your day. I thought the staff was outstanding. They were professional and helpful at every turn.
The only downside, I can mention is the outside area surrounding the property, which is dirty and unkempt, and outside dining options are very limited. The saving grace is that "The Metro" is just at the corner from the hotel which will give you easy access to most of Athens.

It’s an older hotel but well maintained. The highlight for us was the updated rooftop pool area. Great views of Athens and good food and service. The area around the hotel is quite sketchy and there is very little selection to eat and nowhere to walk or shop. You would have to jump in a cab or the subway. Surprising for an area that does have some nice hotels. Overall a good stay

Weird sewer smell on floor 8 which was evident in the room. Opened the sliding door for fresh air. Overall a wonderful stay, rooftop is the place to be. Staff was abundant and super helpful.

Nice property and very nice pool deck. Room was very small and the view from our room was a blank wall. Tiny bathroom and shower.

Great hotel. Good quality rooms and very nice rooftop pool and view. The building lost power on our 2nd day of stay so we had no AC and power for a bit.

Staff and property were excellent. Very clean and the rooftop area is beautiful. Hotel is right at the Metro and bus stops. Extremely convenient. I would definitely stay again.
