This was a good hotel. It was not as updated as other hotels and lacked some of the “nicer touches”. For example, most votes have a water container in lobby with cups for water. When we asked we were directed to water fountains down the hall. These are just old fashioned water fountains without a spot for a water bottle. There is a fridge in each room but the only microwave was in the lobby and had a turn dial. On the plus side, it was clean and the pool was nice (half inside half outside.

I really liked that it has a restaurant and bar in the hotel. Very spacious and modern also pet friendly.

This Holiday Inn is very nice upon walking in, with a beautiful fireplace and unique pool set up, however, the walls are so paper thin, we heard the next door guest’s dog barking at night and early in the morning. We also heard them incessantly coughing, blowing their nose, and possibly throwing up? It was absolutely disgusting. I was also disheartened to learn that though this was marketed as near the Biltmore, it was actually a 10-15 minute drive away. They were conveniently located off of the interstate, but maybe too convenient because it was not easy getting all the way over three lines for one of the interstate options. With all of these things considered, it’s surprising that their breakfast does not come included. This is not one of their elite hotels by any means. The room was pretty standard, but all in all, we would never stay here again.
