The service was completely lacking. I specifically asked about valet parking when I made my reservation yet when I arrived Valet said lot was full. You had a wedding &a conference. Don’t book business if you can’t fit it. I slipped him $20 bucks just to keep my car up front because I had to leave which I specified at 5:30AM as I was managing a 5K in the area. I wasn’t gonna walk to a lot alone at that Hour OR go hunting for a car in the semi darkness. When I went to check in the front desk lady had left. There was a very nice lady who filled in, the same woman who owns the gift shop &restaurant, but I had to wait 20 minutes for the person who knew how to check in to return! I was already tired having been on the 5k site for 12 hours. The next morning I came down at 5:30 and there was no one at the desk again. My husband and I were shouting “hello hello hello” in the empty lobby for 10 mins. I needed to get my car and had no idea where my keys were. I had a 6 AM meeting with the police in town and I could not be late. Finally some guy came back schlepping coffee urns and said he was sorry he had to go make coffee. How ridiculous! Have somebody else make coffee. You don’t leave the front desk unattended. BTW we also never got our wake up call. I made my meeting literally by 1 minute but did not need the extra aggravation. Only thing this hotel has going for it is that the rooms are nicely furnished and large compared to the bare-bones IKEA style of other properties.

Very noisy and thin walks. People next door were super loud at 8 am. Kids screaming and yelling and lots of people in one room.

Our room #416 was in awful condition. The window screen was ripped, the blinds had many holes in them, the room door was not secure , the carpets need to actually be vacuumed, the shower water supply had to be forced to the on position and the overall condition of the room was very poor and warn out. I do have pictures of these issues. To charge $400 for a one night stay and to be in that condition is clearly a business that doest take care of their facility nor take pride in what they have to offer. This will. be my review statement.

It’s a nice hotel in a great location. But upon check in I was told there is an additional $25/day “service fee” and $40/day fee for parking. I asked about street parking and they said I might save a little bit of money if I park at a meter on the street. The concierge failed to mention that there was a free parking lot 1 street away. The room was clean and nice, but the windows were old and were letting a slight breeze in even thought they were shut. It was very very windy that day. And the curtains were ripped and very old. In the end it was an okay experience, but given the hidden fees on top of the original price (which was not cheap) I would have expected better curtains and windows, and to be told there was a free parking option down the street.

Charming hotel by the seaside. The beds were comfortable and the rooms relatively quiet.
