Something was not quite right. The staff were either new and not well trained or the hotel is experiencing some staffing issues. On one day, my room was not serviced in spite of my putting on the ‘please clean room’ sign. Also, a tray of breakfast items remained outside my door even though I pointed out to two different staff members that they needed to be taken away. I would have called room service but the phone in my room wasn’t working. When I arrived, I had to unload my luggage and wheel it inside because there wasn’t anyone at the porters’ desk. I made a reservation at one of the restaurants and when I showed up there was no record of my booking. Staff members were very apologetic about everything that went wrong and were diligent in making things right however I wouldn’t expect so many things to go wrong at a five star hotel.

This is a really outstanding hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. It's ideally located in central Adelaide with easy access to the main shopping area. Highly recommended.

Large rooms, friendly staff and great location. 1 minute walk from Rundle Mall. Highly recommend!
